everyone: there is only one maker of this part and while Im trying to get it sorted out, id rather not cause them grief. This is obviously not an oem part.

As just an example, lets just say you got the richmond/leader gears. All the markings were correct, but someway, somehow a much lower gear ratio then expected ended up in the box. I have no idea if richmond gears have the ratio stamped on the part, but in this case it does not. Imthedevil: Why exactly are you claiming that its my fault? The packaging for the part clearly stated it was the correct part. seedy: not sure what you mean exactly. i assure you this is the real deal and not some kind of trolling. Update: The vendor says the mixup is impossible because if the items had gotten mixed up, there would be a visible difference, which there isnt. The part has the look of the correct part, despite the fact that it does not appear to be working correctly. they say that it is an outside posibilility that some sort of production error occured, but its unlikely. They suspect the part is simply set up wrong. They say they will take the part back and if it fails testing, they will replace it... no cross shipping or anything :(
Ive talked to harry/ztuner and hes given me some ideas on how to get it to work right, though he is not overly hopeful and says that he has encountered this issue before.
Whats the best way to get a hold of Ash, email or just keep calling?
